Avila Hot Springs Spa & RV Park

  Avila Hot Springs Map

 CA - Avila Hot Springs 01 copy.jpg
Spring Synopsis: RV Park centered on the natural artesian springs, which feed both soaking and swimming pools at the resort.  Located just inland, the costal mountains tend to redirect the fog and bring refreshing breezes, poolside.

Seasonal Accessibility: Open year round.  Open 8:30am - 9pm during the summer, and until 6pm during winter.

Camping Availability: There are 75 sites available, 30 with full hookups including Cable TV, 20 sites with partial hookups, 7 pull-through sites (for RVs up to 40’) and 25 tent sites.  Monthly rates available for RV spaces and cabins.

Services at spring: The RV Park has a store, a pizza kitchen (eat in or take out), an arcade, laundry facilities, propane and a dump station, a palm shaded picnic area with barbecues, and even massage.  Day use fee is $9 for adults and only $5 if you're staying there.

The Spring(s): Natural artesian springs bring 130º mineral water to ground level, where it has a chance to cool off some before being piped to the soaking pool.  The square pool is maintained from 103º – 107º depending on the season.  It measures about 20’ x 20’ with room for plenty of friendly faces.  The soaking pool is cleaned daily so there’s no need to worry about chemicals being added to the water.  A large, fresh water swimming pool offers exercise and recreation; two waterslides add excitement to the 100-foot long pool, which is maintained at 86º degrees.  The swimming pool is treated with chlorine.  Indoor tubs offer a more private atmosphere, where clothing is optional.

Directions: From San Luis Obispo head south on Highway 101 to the Avila Beach Drive exit.  Turn right (west) for about a block to the resort.
