Truth or Consequences
Truth or Consequences got its name from a radio show back in the 50's, who wanted a town to change their name for the sake of advertisement. Well this little hot springs haven took the chance and is now known for the millions of gallons of hot mineral water that gush through town on a daily basis. Located right in the middle of New Mexico, Truth or Consequences has half a dozen developed hotels, motels, spas and apartments that are all plumbed with the natural hot spring water. Visitors can stay overnight in well appointed accommodations, or just drop in and soak by the hour.
