Utah
There just aren't a lot of hot springs in Utah. Luckily however, they are scattered throughout the western half of the state, so there should be something near where you're going. In the northern part of Utah there are a couple of developed hot springs that offer swimming pools and soaking tubs, lodging and golf courses. Towards the western side of the state most of the hot springs are undeveloped, and way out in the middle of nowhere. The springs range from a warm spring pond lined with cattails, to the remains of a resort with nothing left behind but concrete tubs sunken into the ground. Again, be prepared with a map, directions, extra gas and water, and don't forget the sunscreen.
